Paul Kibel Presents on Fisheries Impacts

On February 2nd, Paul Kibel joined the Questions of Common Supply: SGMA Requirements for Interconnected Surface Water and Groundwater panel at UC Hasting’s California Water Law Symposium. Moderated by Kevin O’Brien of Downey Brand, the panel also included Rick Frank, Andy Sawyer, and Letty Belin. The panel discussed the structure of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and how it addresses interconnections between surface and groundwater, particularly in relation to fisheries, the common supply doctrine, and the public trust doctrine.
